Meet Our Team of Experts
Eric – Owner, Licensed Paralegal
Former traffic officer of the Niagara Regional Police Service. Graduate of the Seneca College Law Enforcement program and the Seneca College Paralegal program. Graduate of the Ontario Police College and a graduate of the Centre of Forensic Science in Toronto trained as a breathalyzer technician on the Intoxilyzer. Successful completion and trained in accident reconstruction and laser and radar technology. Eric is 1 of 2 licensed paralegals with extensive training in radar and accident investigation in the Niagara and Hamilton areas. Eric has numerous police commendations from both the Metropolitan Toronto Police Service and the Niagara Regional Police Service, and has been an active member in lacrosse organizations and girls hockey programs. Eric has 3 children, he is the proud father of 2 boys who serve in the Canadian Armed Forces and a daughter who attends a University in the United States on a hockey scholarship and is one of the top female goaltenders in Canada. Eric has an extensive passion for justice and is well known for his stance on policing accountability.
Sherry – Office Manager
Sherry has been in administrative roles for the past 20 years and brings a wealth of knowledge of office skills, time management and experience. Sherry is also a certified Chef and is well known in the culinary workforce in Niagara.
Riley – Licensed Paralegal
Riley is a licensed paralegal and the newest member of the Street Justice family. Riley is a graduate of the Mohawk College Paralegal Program and completed her student placement with Street Justice – being personally trained by Eric and Sherry. Riley has a thirst for knowledge and is constantly learning and expanding her skill base. Riley is an outgoing and passionate young lady who thrives on a challenge and loves connecting with clients. Riley has a background of working in fast-paced environments and as a result, has become extremely adaptable and is able to think on her feet in high-stress situations. Riley has spent much of her time helping at-risk communities and has an intricate understanding of the types of issues that at-risk populations face. She has volunteered throughout her life with Indigenous women and the homeless population and bases much of her advocacy style on helping those in need. She is compassionate, hardworking, resourceful and always strives to serve her clients with the utmost care and professionalism.
Cassandra – Licensed Paralegal
Lena- Paralegal Candidate
Lena Erwin is a dedicated Paralegal Candidate with over a decade of experience in the enforcement industry. Her diverse background includes positions in Municipal Law Enforcement with the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, various security positions, plant and fire protection at General Motors, and serving as an Animal Control Officer with the Humane Society. Lena is also certified in Montessori education, showcasing her commitment to lifelong learning.
She holds a Paralegal diploma from Mohawk College, as well as diplomas in Police Foundations, Customs and Immigration, and Law and Security Administration from Niagara College. Lena has furthered her expertise with certifications in WSIB Adjudication and WSIB Case Management.
A former college athlete, Lena played OCAA basketball at Niagara College. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys hiking with her family, photography, and spending time at her family cottage in Northern Ontario. Lena is actively involved in her community, volunteering with local non-profits, advocating for justice, and supporting individuals with chronic illnesses and disabilities, combating bullying, and championing human rights and animal rights. She is also an active member of Central Community Church in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
